8 Bolt? Additional bolts are included in this package, along with the assembly bolts for the bracket; the extra bolts are for use to mount accessories.

THE TECH
Universal Mount, 2in Tube
The two piece, UV stabilized-Nylon parts attach together with inner surface grip dots that hold securely over a 2" diameter tube forming an incredibly strong grip.
Multi-Directional Mount
Multiple hardware slots allows attachment from either side of the assembly and may double as accessory mounts. Side mount hardware locations increase the possibilities to utilize the function of the 2”Multi Mount.
Note: The accessory brackets and accessories shown are not included with the Universal Accessory Mounts.
Specifications
Universal Mount Grip Dots
Each assembly has Eight Grip Dots integrated into the inner mount face for maximum security; this prevents movement or rotation of the mount when mounted.
