ARS is the only rack that features a "load bearing" front hoop without the need for additional support; this strength is the bedrock that allows our rack systems to withstand fore and aft thrust, side load forces, and prevents horizontal wracking (the twisting/flexing out of a rigid or supportive state). The front hoop columns are attached with 3/16" steel pier-plates that connect to 16 strong mounting points along with 2 additional fasteners at the front assembly of the Jeep body, then the pier plates are discretely covered with the factory cowl for a clean OE look.
The rear hoop columns are attached with our 3/16" steel base anchors and flexural footings, that create an understructure connecting the frame of the Jeep to the hoop for the strongest attachment point. The flexural footings coupled to our 2” OD steel support columns through 2-part urethane bushings, providing flexural rigidity between the frame and body mounts that allow the front and rear foundations to work in unison to support the cargo structure.
Roof trusses are made from strong 2” OD steel tube and are attached with CNC billet clamps to the fore and aft hoop columns. The roof trusses have been engineered with forward slopes to reduce outward forces on the front body mounted hoop columns; the rear facing billet clamps attach directly to the frame mounted rear hoop columns, where any thrust forces are dealt with utilizing our base anchored/flexural footings.
The roof trusses are positioned low, as bowing is not an issue with the colossal strength, ensuring the lowest center of gravity possible when at capacity. The JL ARS Rack will support up to 350lbs of dynamic weight and over 850lbs quasi static loads.
The Included Stealth platform is compiled of Aluminum cargo platforms mount flush between Rocklander roof trusses. These light, sturdy, and virtually out of sight from the side-view pieces allow cargo to be mounted directly to and securely fastened. The lo-profile platforms get cargo low to lessen the effect of the extra weight on your Jeep and do not limit your loads to the constraints of sidewalls or basket enclosures. These platforms are strong enough to walk on when fastened.
Note: Adding racks and/or accessories to the exterior of your vehicle may increase wind noise especially on models with soft-tops, sky-tops, etc.

JL Wrangler 4-Door Rocklander Stealth Rack System
ARS has created a structure to safely handle additional cargo loads for your Jeep. Our rack systems are built on a unique floating foundation that separates and distributes weight to the body AND to the frame maximizing structure and support.
Rocklander Front Hoop
ARS is the only rack that features a "load bearing" front hoop without the need for additional support; this strength is the bedrock that allows our rack systems to withstand fore and aft thrust, side load forces, and prevents horizontal racking (the twisting/flexing out of a rigid or supportive state).
Integrated Weld-On Handles
The Rocklander Front Hoop has welded-on 1" x .120 wall steel tube handles that let you get up and into your Jeep and also provide easy access to the optional kat walk accessory or roof rack.
Steel Pier Plates
The Front Hoop Columns are attached with 3/16" Steel Pier-Plates that connect to 16 strong mounting points along with 2 additional fasteners at the front assembly of the Jeep body, then the pier plates are discretely covered with the factory cowl for a clean OE look.
Rocklander Rear Hoop
The Rocklander Rear Hoop fits a 2-Door or 4-Door JL Wrangler. The rear hoop is made of strong 2" x .120 wall steel tube and mounts directly to the frame and provides superior off-road protection for the rear corners of the JL Wrangler. The rear hoop is black powder coated to protect the hoop from the elements and does not require any drilling or body modifications.
Billet Shelf-Lock
Billet Shelf-Lock connections allow for ease of installation and increased functionality.
The rear hoop connects the rear uprights together with solid billet, overlapping Shelf-Locks and secure into place using industrial grade corrosion resistant hardware.
The Billet Shelf Lock connectors are fully welded into the tubes for incredible strength and help facilitate ease of assembly.
Rear Hoop Adapter Brackets
The Rear hoop columns are attached with our 3/16" steel base anchors and Flexural Footings, that create an understructure connecting the frame of the Jeep to the hoop for the strongest attachment point.
Noise Vibration Dampening Bushings
The Flexural Footings coupled to our 2”OD steel support columns through 2-part Urethane bushings, providing flexural rigidity between the frame and body mounts that allow the front and rear foundations to work in unison to support the cargo structure.
4-Door Roof Trusses
The Jeep Wrangler 4-Door JL Roof Trusses are a critical part of the ARS cargo system. The roof trusses are made solid with 2"OD steel tubing that connect with the front and rear hoop columns, and create the most stable cargo management system available. ARS Roof Trusses are finished in a durable black texture powder coat that protect against the elements and to keep them looking good.
Engineered Bend
To maximize load strength, ARS Roof Trusses are designed with a forward slope that reduce push/load forces on the front body mounted hoop columns.
CNC Billet Clamps
The strong 2” OD steel tube Roof trusses are complimented with huge CNC steel billet clamps that attach firmly with a combined clamping force of over 3,200lbs to the front and Rear hoop columns.
Low Profile Design

Optional Front Hoop Kat-Walk
The JL Wrangler Jeep Kat-Walk is a non-slip step platform that provides easy access to the top of the Jeep. The ARS Kat-Walk is a bolt-on accessory that spans the windshield/hood area of JK that attaches to front hoop and is rated for 300lbs.
